Kids’ Day at the Lancaster Farmers Market

Come visit the Lancaster Farmers Market for our second Kids’ Day of the season!
Special guests with free kids’ activities will include:
• AHA! Children’s Museum – hands-on activity
• Storytime with the Fairfield County District Library at 9:30am
• Squirrel Scout Outdoor School – art activity & giant bubbles
Our local WIC dieticians will join us to distribute WIC farmers market coupons for free fruits & vegetables to active WIC participants, while supplies last. These can be used right away to shop with any of our produce vendors.
And Frios Gourmet Pops will bring their popsicle truck!
Look for special offerings from select vendors including:
– Arla Canby’s Cottage Kitchen – “Christmas in July” – Meet Mrs. Kimmie Claus! She’ll have free apple stickers and a rubber duck pond with free prizes.
– Charlie’s Cookies – Free shopping bags for kids – Look inside for a free toy and a coupon for a free cookie!
– Andre’s Bakery – Paint Your Own Cookie Kits available
– Down the Road Farm – Fresh sunflowers available, only $1 for kids
– Miller’s Home Baking – Decorated cake pops available
The Lancaster Farmers Market is celebrating our 40th season in downtown Lancaster. Find our great group of local vendors on Chestnut Street between Broad and Columbus (right around the corner from the Keller Market House).
Market is rain or shine every Saturday from the first week in May through the first week in October. Sales are from 8:30am until noon.
Make sure to get a coffee from the Square 7 Coffee House tent and check out everything local inside the Keller Market House as well.
SNAP customers are welcome to shop with any of our food vendors, and we even double up your SNAP purchase with Produce Perks! Visit the Market Tent to get started.
Many of our vendors accept credit cards or other forms of digital payment. Check each tent for a sign with accepted forms of payment.
