SNAP | EBT
We accept SNAP/EBT benefits at both the Keller Market House and Lancaster Farmers Market. We also participate in the Produce Perks program.
Produce Perks Midwest is a regional program that makes healthy foods more available while supporting local farmers. Produce Perks doubles the purchasing power for SNAP recipients – providing a $1 for $1 match for families and individuals. Click here for more info and other Produce Perks locations. If you’re interested, ask us for details or pick up a flier in the market house.
At the Keller Market House, if you spend your SNAP dollars (EBT, P-EBT, or Ohio Direction Card) on any food, we can match the amount you spend – up to $25 per day – with green tokens that you can use for free fresh fruits and vegetables.
You can also use your SNAP funds and receive Produce Perks at the Lancaster Farmers Market outside on Saturday mornings!
How to use your Ohio Direction Card SNAP/EBT benefits at the Lancaster Farmers Market
Get started by visiting our Market Info Tent for details and to swipe your EBT card. You’ll get wooden tokens in exchange for your SNAP benefits that you can spend with any of our food vendors.
With Produce Perks (see above), each time you use SNAP, we can match the amount you spend – up to $25 a day – with green tokens for free fruits and vegetables.
If you ever have any questions about how anything works, please ask a market helper! We want you to get the most out of your visit!
