Trowel Pal is a locally designed trowel by Floyd Lloyd. He was a local Mechanical Engineer, OSU graduate, who held many patents. He designed this trowel for ease of use, while it maintained a strong backbone to not bend under the pressure of hard work. Floyd’s daughter, Laura, owned a metal stamping business, where each trowel was stamped from steel, assembled, and powder coated with a beautiful teal finish to maintain longevity, and adorned with an appealing solid oak handle.
