My small business,Flux and Function LLC, started in 2017 in Athens, Ohio. I create functional art that focuses on my two passions of painting and photography. Inspired by abstract expressionism, science and nature, I pour paints on functional items such as; coasters, light switch plates, lazy susans and trays. After pouring, I photograph my favorite details of the wet paint. These images are printed on earrings, journals, tea towels and pillow cases.
