Volunteer

As a community market, our volunteers are our heart and soul! Some are members and sponsors, some simply love being involved and make a donation of their time.  They brighten our days, lighten our load and we love having them at our events and activities.

If you’re looking for something fun to do and would enjoy making new friends in the community and helping our local growers and makers, we’ve got opportunities all year ‘round!  Read more about what kind of volunteer activities are available and contact us at info@kellermarkethouse.org. Volunteer Activities include:

Farmers Market Helper
Sign up for the Saturdays that work for you! We’ll send out a sign up list each month during farmers market season (May through October). Volunteering at the farmers market is part logistics and part talking to people. We’d like help with set up and tear down (tents, tables, signage) as well as greeting customers and answering questions. You might help with special activities, counting customers or run a quick errand for one of our vendors. Please note, we are outdoors, whatever the weather. If you have any preferences or concerns, just let us know, and we will do our best to make sure you have a job you feel good about.

Special Events Helper
We could always use extra hands when we have special events – whether it’s a small cooking class or a big party. If you’d like to help make our special events possible, and have a few hours here and there to contribute, sign up and we’ll let you know when we have special event opportunities.

Keller Market House Helper
Help out in the market house with day to day operations or when we have special product offerings. You might work with a small team to prep, sort, pack and decorate orders. You might also stick around to greet customers and help distribute packages.

Market Ambassador
Do you enjoy talking to people and getting out in the community? Do you love spreading the word about the Keller Market House & Lancaster Farmers Market? Represent our organization at off site events. You’ll need your own transportation, but we’ll provide you with everything else you need.
