About the teacher: Nancy Morales saw an opportunity to produce locally-grown microgreens for Amanda and the surrounding communities. Being raised on a mid-sized farm herself, she wanted to go back to her roots and create a business on her property that would allow her to bring urban farming to the local area. Nancy had to start a farm on a budget with no equipment, so after some thorough research, microgreens was discovered as a crop that can be grown indoors in a climate controlled area and this is how Four Acres Micro Farm was born!
Come meet Nancy, learn about her journey and discover all the benefits of adding microgreens to your everyday meals!
