La Dolce ‘Nola
Our story began in the fall of 2020 with our family, the Dolce’s. We love granola and decided to try our hand at making it. Many recipes and pounds of granola later, we found we had a knack for creating different varieties: crunchy, savory, sweet, salty, or chewy.
With the holidays approaching, we decided to gift our creations to family and friends. Our then two year old called it ‘nola. The name stuck, the gifts were a hit, and requests for more did not stop and so our company, La Dolce ‘Nola, was born!
Our family has always loved the art of preparing food. Grandparents’ kitchen tables were our favorite places to be growing up. Those cherished memories propel us toward our goal of sharing a bit of our table with you. Together, we have a diverse and rich food heritage from Southern roots to the island of Sicily. We have professional culinary training, years of hands on cooking experience, and passion for what we do.
We built our company with high standards, scrutinizing even the smallest details from the inside of ‘Nola to the outside. It all matters to us. We approach granola similar to a sommelier or master brewer: we focus on the smell, taste and finish of our product. We chose rice paper bags to offer premium packaging and storage of our ‘Nola for months for freshness.
Just like our two sons, we hope you’ll say, “more ‘Nola please!” after trying our product.
We offer three standard ‘Nola flavors.
Midnight: Granola with a dark chocolate base that’s chocolaty but not sweet, layered with sweetness of hibiscus with tropical notes of dried coconut.
Spiced Apple: Cinnamon granola with laces of vanilla and molasses. Mixed with whole dried cranberries and our homemade ginger cinnamon apple chips.
Buckeye: The classic combination from the heart of the Buckeye state: 62% dark chocolate chunks, natural peanut butter, and our blend of peanuts.
We also have offer seasonal limited edition flavors throughout the year.
